ISLAMABAD—July 14—The Pakistan's trade deficit recorded $ 15.327 billion during the outgoing fiscal, which is less than 0.32 percent from the last year
According to the figures of the Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), the country's trade deficit for the 2009/10 (July-June) fiscal year narrowed to $15.32 billion from $17.13 billion, the imports narrowed $34.709 billion from $ 34.882 billion and exports increased to $ 19.382 billion from $17.688 billion.
The trade deficit narrowed to $1.40 billion in June from $1.81 billion in June last year, the FBS said. The deficit was $1.60 billion in May.
The exports stood at $1.82 billion in June this year, against $1.52 billion a year ago. The imports were worth $3.22 billion compared with $3.34 billion last year.
